Long ago I purchased a used pair of Arc’teryx LEAF Combat Pants from a gentleman off AR15.com. One of these days I need to do a review of the LEAF Combat Pants but for the sake of this post, if you like somewhat loose-fitting cargo pants, they are best I have ever seen. ITS Tactical did a great review years… Read more »
The 300 AAC Blackout. The new tactical flavor of the month the old timers would say and for the most part they may be right. But these are also the guys that said red dots on rifles were a waste of time and now say that about red dots on handguns. 300 Blackout is an interesting animal. For what it… Read more »
I was very happy with my AK Handguard; the stock one that comes from arsenal. I put a piece of heat tape on the aluminum heat shield on the inside and it has been rock solid and for the most part stays cool. The ultimak on the other hand is a nuclear inferno after a few mags. I have solved that with a sandwich… Read more »
About two weeks back I was finally able to pick up GLOCK’s new single stack 9mm; the GLOCK 43. My local gun shop was very helpful with getting me one and as of today my Beretta Nano is out the door. I love to carry GLOCK 19s but in the summer it gets a little hard not to print and… Read more »
I got a couple of emails about my reloading bench that’s in the insane spring post. Instead of answering one by one I thought I would just do a post on it. Although he is totally reading off a cue card, he makes some good points about interpreting the 3 layers and adapting different pieces into that 3 layer system. Video may have to… Read more »
I have thrown a lot of rounds downrange with my GLOCK 19. I would guess 20-25k. The barrel is still in decent shape although groups may have opened up a little bit. On the advice of Kyle Defoor, I decided to try out KKM Precision’s Glock 19 Match 9mm Drop in barrel. After about 1k round I can say the… Read more »
Check out this video from UW Gear talking about if you’re on a budget, don’t forget about woodland camo. The guys over at UW Gear know an awful lot about camo as they make great gear in numerous types of camo and also do a lot of camo testing in different environments over at their forum. There are times when you have someone do some work for you and you are impressed with the end result. Then there are times (not very often) when you are blown away by the work done and wonder how they did it. We sent a GLOCK 19 slide into Doug at ATEi for an RMR milling and to refinish the slide with… Read more »
